Greetings,

Well the time has come for a note a lot of us knew would eventually be...

Our circles have grown and grown and we are gathering a very great group of seekers... Unfortunately, we are also attracting some curiosity seekers.

As we are dedicated to educating people in the ways of our path, we want our circles to stay open to the public so the serious seekers can find us... have a place to come and worship... share, learn and hopefully grow in this ancient religion. However, at this time circle may have become just a little too easy to come on by and have a "look"... with our sacred circle and space being disrupted .

Some new guidelines have to be put into place in order for our circle to be what it is intended to be... We all work very hard on our ceremonies, so we are again asking for respect for our efforts and our circle... here goes..

From now on you need to call if you are planning on coming so you can be put on a gathering list... This allows the people giving the service the ability to prepare the right number of copies... items for magick... cakes & ale... etc.

At this time you will also be given details of the Sabbat or Esbat... for example, 'children are welcome'.. or 'there will be a long guided meditation and very young children may not be able to be quiet for this long'. Depending on the craft, you may also be asked to bring a personal item or something to share... and you may be assigned a part of the ceremony... like Gate Keeper.

Ahh yes,,, Gate Keeper, or Dragon for the evening. This seeker's job will be to watch the East Gate with smudge... and open the circle to late comers only if appropriate.

In other words... if you are late you may not be welcomed!

Our circles start at 7.00pm and the gate will be closed at about 10 minutes after... From Awareness Shop Tradition to Cakes & Ale the gate will remain closed... you may be let in for music, talking stick or the Closing Rites... but only if the Gate Keeper sees fit!

We do not wish to offend anyone... we only wish to allow our circle to be better, more focused and achieve what it is meant to.

Brightest Blessings

Binah
